CERTIFICATION OHSAS 18001 OHSAS 18001 has been developed to ensure the compatibility with the ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) management systems standards, in order to facilitate the integration of quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems by organizations, should they wish to do so. There are many differences, but key highlights is that ISO 45001 focuses on the interaction between an organization and its business environment and OHSAS 18001 concentrated on managing OH&S Hazards and other issue. But ultimate aim to provide a safe and healthy workplace for employees and visitors. ISO 45001:2018 is the replacement to OHSAS 18001 and is the international ISO standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OHSMS).
